Jan Hedrlín
Wet Collodion Process, Technical MaintenanceJan Hedrlín is a Prague-based engineer, photographer, and practitioner of the wet collodion process. He studied precision mechanics and optics at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, CTU Prague, and photography at the Prague School of Photography. His professional background spans film set construction at Barrandov Studios, design concrete furniture for Prague and other Czech cities, geopolymer research in collaboration with the Czech Academy of Sciences, and interior design and realisation. He co-founded the wet collodion photographic studio "Nasklo" with Julie Lesová (2016 to 2022). At Kolodiumglass, he is responsible for the technical maintenance of the studio machinery and equipment. He brings engineering expertise and experience with 3D modelling and graphics to the studio.
